Real Stories from Our Mobile Imaging Professionals
What Our Team Says
Discover what it’s like to be part of a mission-driven team that puts patients first and supports its people every step of the way. From flexible scheduling to strong leadership, our technologists share what makes working at National Mobile X-Ray so rewarding.
Overall, a Very Good Company to Work For
National Mobile X-Ray is a mobile x-ray provider. As an x-ray tech, your job involves a lot of driving and performing x-rays. The work schedules are pretty good—typically 10- or 12-hour shifts on consecutive days. This company is much better to work for than other mobile x-ray companies out there. Overall, it’s a good company to work for if you enjoy the mobile x-ray field.
Independent Driving Position
Great ultrasound position if you don’t mind driving on your own. Staffing can sometimes be a challenge, so the team may be stretched thin—meaning more miles and hours for each individual. That said, the staff is very supportive, especially for new ultrasound techs just starting out. They treated me great. It’s an awesome way to get your foot in the door.
Great Company to Work For
Very professional, friendly, and hard-working employees. Great opportunities for learning while adapting to different environments. The schedule is flexible, techs are provided with user-friendly, high-quality equipment, and the employee benefits are excellent. Overall, a great company to work for.
Independence and Great Pay
A typical workday always brings something new to learn. You manage your own time and have the opportunity to use your skills to the fullest. The workplace environment is inviting, and co-workers are helpful and genuinely friendly. I don’t think there’s a “hardest part of the job”—you’re constantly practicing your skills, and the ability to work independently provides a great sense of security and accomplishment. The most enjoyable part of the job is receiving tender smiles from patients.
Great Company to Grow With
I’ve worked in many different settings, but I prefer the fast pace of mobile life. The alone time I get while driving between facilities is a huge bonus. The support from management, the dispatch team, and fellow sonographers makes the job much easier to navigate. Flexible scheduling is a big plus, along with the opportunity to travel to new places.
Professional, Caring, and Family Supportive
I’ve worked at National Mobile X-Ray for almost a year, and during that time, I’ve found the management to be incredibly supportive. This is truly one of my favorite companies I’ve ever worked for. They offer great compensation and are very understanding when it comes to family emergencies. They’re also extremely helpful when it comes to training and learning new skills. I highly recommend working here.
